I plan to get started this week-- but I have only been home a week from the HM and having just gotten my proofs and video-- I am wedding-ed out.. I know the sooner I get them done the better-- but, just was curious as to what everyone else did.

I'm just finishing mine now. It's been 4-months and while I would have liked to get them out last month, I've had family matters to attend to and I cannot feel bad about it. I think you can take a few weeks hiatus and really buckle down and do them and you'll be fine.
Better to be in the right frame of mind then write insincere thank you's.

We waited until about 2 months after the wedding to pick out the thank you photo and the ones we wanted in the album, but they got them to us in about a week after we chose them. So I guess they went out about 2.5 -3 months after the wedding.

I am just getting my thank-you picture this week and my cards were on back stock, so they probably won't go out for 2 more weeks....that makes me at about 3 months.

Mine will be 2 months - I want them out before we leave for the honeymoon June 6th because otherwise I'll have it hanging over my head. I think anything up to three months is reasonable.

I squeezed mine out right at the 3 month mark
But I had a relatively small wedding (100 guests, about 50-60 thank yous) If I had more, it would have been closer to 4 months

It took us 2 weeks after the wedding to get the proofs to pic the picture for the greeting card. We received them in 4 weeks then began writing them out. We had them out by the second week in December. We wanted to get them out before the Christmas cards
In total 2 months after the wedding we had them out

it took me a little less than 2 months after the wedding! what a relief to have them done--i couldn't let them linger.

We haven't even picked our yet and our meeting with the photographer isn't until July. I thought you had a year! Is that not the case? Yikes!
