How soon after your wedding did you send out your thank you cards?

Just curious if anyone has procrastinated on this like I have..
Its been almost 1yr 1mth since our wedding and I have yet to send out TY notes..I am sooo lazy..I def. got to get my butt in action..
How bout everyone else?

they were out about 3.5 weeks after we got back from our honeymoon. I freaked because we didn't send pictures and the etiquette is to have them out 2 weeks after you are back from the honeymoon. I didn't want people wondering if we recieved their gifts or not- we got a lot of stuff from our registry as opposed to getting money.

We sent them out about 4 or 5 months after the wedding.

we have finally gotten to doing it recently. 8 months later. We were, however, waiting for PRO pics....but we got those 2 months ago..

I am hoping to send mine out soon. I get my pfoors hopefully this week and then we can chose out pics and then get them all done. I already have my labels done. SO I just need my cards.

It took me a while to sit down and pick the picture I wanted to use. I had my proofs for a while, but never made the time to pick one. Once I got them, I told myself I had to get them done. I got married in Sept-07 and mailed them in March or April 08. So it took me 6-7 months to get them out. You have plenty of time. It takes some people a year! Once you get started it goes by fast. I had to mail out 255 ty cards, so that was my excuse.

I started sending them out 9 mths after, and finished them in the last week!! lol I had to get certain family members out of the way first! do the ones first that you know are expecting them, and then little by little you can get through your whole list. it's a pain, but it feels good to get them done!
Oh Date twin!! I started them the same time you did and I'm STILL not done!!!!!!!!!

Ours were written 2 weeks after the wedding, then we just had to wait another month for the pictures to come in. Two months all together.

I sent them out about 8 months after the wedding. We had some photography drama that delayed the whole thing.
I'm really embarrassed though because I just found a stack of about 10-15 in a drawer last week. I remembered suddenly that I had run out of stamps & I had to go pick up some more. I COMPLETELY FORGOT all about those cards

i had 60% of them written and mailed out by mid May... then my brother got hurt and that kind of put them on hiatus for a lil while. i finally hunkered down and did the rest during the first week of july - they were all mailed out by 7/9.
i hope the 40% who got them later than the others understood b/c of kenneth.
i also write like a NOVEL in each TY card lol i'm crazy about thank you's. i want people to know how much i appreciate and care.

I sent the thank yous for the guestsout a little over 6 months after the wedding except for two that Dh was suppose to write out and he has yet to do so. We sent the vendor thank yous out 1 yr after.

we actually just started ours tonight and got a whopping TWO done we hope to have them out by the end of the month but that's starting to look bleak :)

about 3-4 months i think, but luckily DH did them for his side of the family so that really helped them go quicker!

DH did his about 4 months after the wedding, and i did mine about 5 months after the wedding. we still haven't sent out vendor TYs yet though.

It's about 8 months later and we are just now finishing them up....
We probably have about 30 more to do and I just want them done so we never have to think about them again. My mom just planned my baby shower for December... now I get to start on those TY's.....
