How to use a gif in my avatar?

i think if its too big it won't use it...some work for me...some don't

If you would like, email the image here here. If an image is too large (dimensionally), the programming on the site resizes and converts to a .JPG file, since the framework used to program this site doesn't make good quality .GIF's. It is possible this is the cause.
