If ur husband was asked to go to an event and walk the red carpet and attend the event and then go to the after party- and he wasn't invited with his wife!

its for some guys release or something- im not even sure. And he is totally going for business networking purposes. And Id prolly just be standing there anyway LOL. I think Im being a bit of a baby, but I want to mingle with celebs!!! LOL.

I'd be kinda annoyed mroe because it would eb a chance to look glamorous but I am shy so I might be fine staying at home. How did he feel being invited without you?

I am happy for him, but I want a good excuse to buy a designer dress!!! And Im really good at mingeling! LOL maybe if he makes some good connections he will be invited to more of these type of events and Ill get to go to those. Im just being a baby right now, but ill get over it before I leave work for the day.

Well, it is all business, and I asked if I could go and he said his manager made it sound like he and his friend (DH writes with him and he is an up and comming atist) are to mingle and network. So its not like we would be there to show our faces and look glam, cus no one knows who I am or we are. LOL.

MM if its busines you would probably honestly be bored. I went to an event with a friend (female friend) who is an actress and her boyfriend is a writer/director and he was there to network and I wanted to shoot myself. The food was good but its just glamrous small talk.
Buy the designer dress, sit in it at home and watch chick flicks and have goodies. You'll be much better off than he is

Good idea! And you are right, I'd prolly be bored. And I dont think his friend is bringing his gf either and she is actually a singer!

Thats him. Cus he is at the apollo thursday night so thats when the event is. I guess there will be lots of artists in attendace that his manager wants them to meet for song writing purposes. I'd prolly feel out of place- but it would be cool to see the show!

It would SO cool to see a show at the Apollo! Just for the sake of how much history that place has. What if you tell him that you'll stay out of sight while he does his business, that you just want to go and enjoy the show??

he doesnt work with him- I think DHs manager knows him or one of his people and he was able to get a vip invite for them- therefore allowing them to go and network.
