Re: HS Reunions
I was single at my 10, so I went with a friend (who left her hubby at home - he had NO desire to come). DH will be going with me to my 20 (next year ) whether he likes it or not!!

Re: HS Reunions
I don't have a reunion coming up any time soon, but when that time comes around, I'm definately going to bring DH. I want to show him off

Re: HS Reunions
I think most people came solo to our 10th. My 20th is this year and DH is going despite his b*thcing and moaning!

Re: HS Reunions
I didn't go to my 10 year reunion. My 20th isn't for a few more years- Thank goodness! AT that time I will bring my DH whether he likes it or not!

Re: HS Reunions
I went with DH to his 10 year and he came with me to mine. We weren't married yet for either. I liked having him with me. I think maybe half of the people who were married came with.

Re: HS Reunions
I brought my boyfriend at the time, which I only did because all my girlfriends were bringing their husbands. Our crew was just about the only one to come with spouses! Everyone else was alone.
I have 5 years till my 20 but I will probably bring DH. He knows many of my HS friends and I am sure they will bring their husbands too.

Re: HS Reunions
My 5-year college is this year, and since DH didn't go to my college, he wouldn't know anyone and has really no desire to go. I'm happier going with my single girlfriends and not worrying about him having a bad time the whole weekend. But, if it were his reunion and he wanted to go, I think I would be reluctant to leave him with his ex's for a whole weekend.
ETA: I hated high school so though my 10-year is next year I won't be going.

Re: HS Reunions
I had a lot of friends in HS but had no desire to go to my reunion , and I do not think I will go to my 20th reunion either- I usually buy the book to see what my former classmates are doing. My 20th is not for another 4 years.

Re: HS Reunions
DH came with me to my 10 year. He knew some people who were going to be there so that made it better for him since he wouldn't be all alone if I was off somewhere else.

Re: HS Reunions
My 10 yr is coming up and I was just talking to DH about it. He does NOT want to go at all and I'm still on the fence about going. But I don't think I would mind going without him.

Re: HS Reunions
My hs reunion was suppose to be in 2003 but no one got the ball rolling to actually plan it despite of the talks. It's now 2005, past the 10 year mark of 1993 and 2 alumanes are actually organizing it. Honestly, I'm not really hype into going. Plus, it's $100.00 per person cost which includes food, open bar, venue, etc. all for 5 hours for a Saturday night. I'm on a budget and not really in the festive mood. Usually, reunions are not free events but a per person cost.

We didn't have one... but if we did, I would have brought DH (fiance at the time). No one cared enough from my school to do one i guess...

Re: HS Reunions
If I had gone to mine I would have brough DH (DF) at the time but my stupid stupid class decided to have it Thanksgiving day weekend so tickets to go back to NY were sky high. A lot of people didn't go.

Re: HS Reunions
No one in my class organized a 10yr so we didn't have one.
