Wasn't there ever supposed to be a 2008 girls final GTG? I remember way back when, when I could not go to the 2008 shower Someone had mentioned a big final goodbye gtg..what happened to that? and wouldn't this be a great idea

Wow yeah really. Kim definitely didn't mean any harm, she was just making an observation, like Michelle said. Kim is like the sweetest person ever, she didn't mean anything bad. We definitely appreciate the suggestions!

I really like the Mulcahy's happy hour idea, on a Friday night. Might be easier to get girls out on a Friday rather than a Sat/Sun. Just my two cents.

Michelle/Kim, I think my comment was misunderstood and it wasn't meant to come out offensive the way it was taken. I meant that if it went strictly by the date we joined this site then I wouldn't want to offend anyone by attending since it would be unfair to everyone else that had joined last year or the year before. I know this was done either last year in 08 or 07. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to join the other ladies for that gtg. I checked the post after it was already organized. My intention was to only offer a suggestion since someone said to do a picnic but def not to crash a party. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I would certainly come on a Friday evening. Hubby works late so I am always looking for things to do on my own. I work on LI but live in NYC, so Friday night is perfect.
