I am mad!!! *UPDATED*

Ugh, besides not totally being happy with my photographer in the first place...I am now ****ed with their studio. I went to pick up my album in the beginning of May, at first sight, I see that my name is spelled wrong on the cover my name is spelled right all over my contracts but anyway....they said they will fix it. Another pic of Gary and his mother is totally grayish in color (we never saw this proof before it went into the album or else I would have never agreed for it to go in) so they said take the album home and come back whenever you want and we will fix those mistakes. I took back the album on May 27th or so and was told it would take about 3 weeks. Now, close to 3 months later I still don't have my album back!

I have called several times and they said 'they are working on it' or I get 'we got a shipment in today, let me check it' (they say this all the time, I think just to get you to get your hopes up)...and still NOTHING! I just left another message this morning asking for a call back TODAY! This error was THEIR fault and now I am waiting 2 1/2 months for my album!!

Grrrr I am so annoyed beyond belief at this point, just venting!!

UPDATE...so I get a call FINALLY after a week and they tell me my album will be in on Tuesday's shipment, IT IS ABOUT FRIGGIN TIME!!!! I will let you know if that rings true when they call me to come and get it!!

ugh - that is so annoying! And with such blatant errors on their part, they really should be quickly correcting them for you

Not sure Sue, I think their lab they use is a bunch of morons though. I forgot to say that they did get the proof of Gary and his mom back a few weeks ago and it was scratched so they (my photog) sent it back again! I know I waited forever for my proofs and to even get my TY pics as well and they put their blame on their lab but I am not sure at this point.

Oh geez, and I just got around to finalizing my album (I know, I know...I'm a slacker)....I guess I shouldn't hold my breath waiting for it.

I hope you get yours back soon.

It really su cks that one vendor can have such an impact of us. I am not happy with my photographer either - hope it works out

Michelle, totally forgot about you with using them as well....their studio S U X, let me tell you! And they never return my calls. I hope you don't run into that much trouble....

Yeah, they were suppoesed to fax me a breakdown of all our additional costs (additional TY's, additional photos in albums etc) but I haven't received that yet....gee there's a surprise. So now I'm starting to worry if they have even placed our order for our album yet. I just called and left them a message today...so lets see how long it takes for them to get back to me.

Oh, and trying to order the album...please that was quite an ordeal...we had to do it over the phone so I made a copy of each proof and how I wanted it arranged and sent it to them to make it easier but then they would never call me when they said they would. I waited for their phone call two Friday's in a row!!

Hopefully we will both have our albums soon so we can be done with them.

I so know your pain Michelle. They never call you back when they say they will and either their studio they use is a bunch of morons or they just blame everything on them!

I'd watch them like a hawk with placing that order because they had told me they didn't order our enlargements and when I went to pick up our parents albums, they were there....which was nice but still, get your stories straight!
