I am not a newlywed...

but I was wondering if you ladies could recommend a vendor for invitations. I didn't receive many responses on the other board. Thanks!

I have someone I used who custom made mine. Her name is Maureen. Her company is Moes Art Studio. I sent her a few samples of things I liked with some other ideas and she created 4 samples and mailed them to me. I then emailed her any changes I had. She'd make changes & mail me new samples. Until it was just what I wanted!

She was great.

believe it or not I used Party City for inviations..they are 30 % off and vendors on here had the exact smae ones as mine only the price was much more, Party city has a TON of books, you definately have to look through nd search, because alot of their stuff is comeplete CRAP, but when I saw mine, I looked elsewhere and kept going to back to the ones at Party City, and once they were sent out, I receievd so many cmpliments on my invitations, people told me they knew my wedidng was going to be elegant because my invites were so beautiful!!! YEA!!! I bought the invitations, the lined inner envelopes, personalized napkins, stationary with my new name on it in beautiful script all for less than 400!!!! I still love my invitations!!

I didn't use Laura from LA Production for my inviations but she did make my Thank You for Being My Bridesmaid/Groomsmen cards and they were AWESOME!!!

I ordered my invites from Lizard Designs but they are not accepting orders at the moment due to the fact that they are moving their business to Hawaii.

I also loved Gaddis Designs too!

I agree with Gail at Simply Elegant (a vendor here look under invitations) was so great!! She was great to work with, had lots of books with many selections to choose from and had great prices

Another vote for Gail at Simply ELegant, she is the best. A real sweetie, and SOOO patient with brides who take 3 weeks to decide on invites (OK, yes that was me) She also did our favors for the wedding, gave me the best price and wrapped them beautifully. I highly recommend her.

BTW I sent a friend to Gail and apparently Gail is engaged to be married! So maybe we will see her on the boards

Rebecca from Favorite Things Invitations (a vendor on this board) was great to work with! We designed an invitation for my wedding. I was really happy with her work and I received so many compliments on how beautiful the invitations were. I would definitely recommend her. Good luck!
