Thank you !! I will be ok , I just worry about the future for my kids and everyone elses ! The way things are going now I feel bad for them and I hope things and people change soon !!

i think about this ALL the time...every now & then people think i'm crazy and are like 'what? u need to not think so much'...but this world is just going down the tubes..and it's a very unfortunate thing i feel u on this subject - so lots of hugs!

yep...i feel like everyone's mindset is 'oh it's no big deal'...and they let things slide, and let things slide, and it's just been a big gradual down-slide...and honestly, i feel like people in higher standings (aka the gov't, etc.) are just concerned with letting pleasing EVERYONE..and honestly, you can't..and because this is something they constantly seek to do i feel like soon everything will be legal, and the world will be one big free for all...

WE HAVE LAWS FOR A REASON.

and getting pregnant @ 10 and 11 b/c parents are so lax about who they let in there homes !!

Its not even just that we judge good people now as being cheesey and boring when these are the people we should be wanting our children to become instead we are promoting horrible things and letting kids do whatever whenever letting them watch anything they want and there minds are so polluted !!

Aww I hope it gets better too. I was actually watching the news this morning and they showed a clip of someone from congress yelling at Exxon Mobil 'Don't you guys have a care in the world and a care about our people?' The guy from Exxon looked stunned and then said 'We are trying our best but it is out of our control'. i don't think congress liked that answer. But that made my morning knowing Congress isn't sitting lightly on the gas subject.

I am afraid for everyone's future also with all the store closings, gas being so high, and all our taxes going down the tubes to stuff we don't need. I am hoping the next president really sits down and thinks about a solution to the problems that Bush created the last 8 years and saves our future and our children's and grandchildren's futures.

YES.it makes sense. like i said, i think about this stuff all the time! The media makes me so upset...especially because u can't escape it! MY THREE YEAR OLD NEPHEW RUNS INTO THE LIVING ROOM WHEN HE HEARS THE SONG FOR THE VICTORIA'S SECRET COMMERCIAL(the one with the girl coming down the runway).
HE'S THREE!!! some people think it's funny, but my cousin gets so upset.... it's a perfect example!
even the shows that I watch.. the hubby & i were watching grey's last week and some of the scenes are just SO sexual..and everything is adultery, sex, drinking, etc... i was like 'WT.F?! this is normal tv!! WHY is this on?!' ...and it's a show i like...
i just feel like everything is so 'the norm' these days that everyone is desensitized from it...but all of those little things are the reasons why the world is the way it is...i can not even IMAGINE what it's going to be like when i have kids...can't even think about it!

And parents need to start caring also ! And once this economy issue is resolved somehow ,it will get easier for parents to be around more to care !! They wont have to work 2-3 jobs to support their families !!

when i was younger my parents were this way..and i thankGod for it! Dh's were also..so we're on the same page that we wanna do the same when we have kids
