In my drunken state I broke my blackberry.. verizon wants $400 for a new phone (no freaking way). I was thinking of just getting one off of ebay until I am able to upgrade (11 months from now) but I'm nervous to do this. Any suggestions?

I would check Amazon.com first. They have a ton of good electronics on there, brand new for cheap. I've found great deals on there. That stinks about your phone![]()

Yes I would check out Amazon first and also try Overstock.com.
Be careful with E-Bay! I had a bad experiance with Paypal where money was drafted out of my bank account without even knowing it! On paypal always set up the account under your credit card cause that can always be disputed!!

However, my friend totally drown her phone in liquid gell by accident and she had it soak in plain uncooked Rice and she said it's working now..seems strange right?

I broke mine yesterday too. I have AT&T and was cheaper to get out of the contract then to get a new phone. So I cancelled contract with AT&T and got Verizon, and am on a family plan with DH now.
