awww... ya see? I was right in my other idol post today - i AM her only fan! I really do like her a lot. Not her crazy tattoos or her hideous dancing, but I really do like her voice. I guess I just don't hear what you guys do. I'm just so tired of all singers sounding exactly the same, and I like her style. It reminds me of Zooey Deschanel's voice when she sang 'Baby its Cold Outside' on the movie 'Elf'. I love that old style, kind of like Billie Holiday. Maybe I'm the only one who likes THOSE singers also tho

I doubt Meghan will WIN, but I have to be honest and say that I would definitely buy her CD if she did

cassandra i feel the same way!! i actually really like the unique-ness she carries. I dont think she sings like an a-hole at all i DO however think her lack of experience is whats not allowing her to shine...she doesn't realize everything she carries.. if she really picked the perfect songs all the time and stuck to that quality in her voice & used it to it's FULL potential, she would be outstanding. i think right now it's just 'the tone of her voice'...i hope this is making sense??? Like Danny for instance - he uses that SOUL to it's full potential..EVERY single time..kwim??

i WILL say - that her constant twisty/dancing thing drives me crazy lol..i think just because it doesn't come off genuine to me. the first night she sang in that white dress she looked like a little kid trying to be alice in wonderland lol. it thoroughly annoyed me...however last night i saw much less of it so i was pleased! i thought her song last night could've been so great - it was perfect for her & it's a shame she got so sick

Thank you, Taryn!! So glad I'm not alone lol. What you said definitely makes sense. Even though I really like her voice, there certainly does seem to be something missing in her performances. I wish she WOULD use her voice to it's full potential (as you said). We'll have to wait & see what happens, I guess!

And of course her dancing Oh my!! I really get so embarrassed when she does that twisting move. I kept yelling at the tv last night 'Hold onto the mic!!!' At least it would give her something to do with her hands rather than swinging them around aimlessly. lol. I'm surprised she hasn't seen a replay of the show and realized how ridiculous she looks when she tries to dance. I hope somebody teaches her how to move on stage. haha!

(and about that Alice in Wonderland comment - I had thought the SAME thing!!)

I don't think she is THAT bad. And my male co workers are all in love with her! They think she is SO hot

I WILL say that I couldnt even tell that she had the flu last night, so that must account for something, right?!

i actually don't mind her voice - it's different from everyone else's. they all tend to sound the same after awhile. she stands out. now if only they could stop her dancing.....
