It's our FIRST ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!

Larry and I are going to Westbury Manor for dinner tonight and then we will be home to eat our cake!!!

I can't believe how fast this year went by!!! Right now we would be taking pictures outside the church in the beautiful sunshine!!!!

PS.. Happy Anniversary to my Date Twin Geraldine!!! Hope you and DH have a wonderful night!!!

I am off to get ready for dinner!!!!!

Update.....

OMG... the cake was GROSS!!!!!
We had to eat a piece for tradition and luck and I barely swallowed it...
It was originally buttercream icing with yellow cake with chocolate mouse and raspberries and a layer of cannoli cream...

Well.... the sponge cake was ok.. the buttercream was sour and I swear I saw pennicillin growing on the chocolate mouse...

We threw it out as soon as we took our first and only bites!!!! Ewwwww

Our cake is now in the Fridge....we haven't touched it yet.
We plan on taking a Bite later on.

I will let you know Date Twin if I have medicine on mine.

well i'm glad u had a nice night but i am SO sorry about ur cake! lol yuck! fortunately our cake was still SO yummy..but we had saran-wrapped, foiled & wrapped the crap out of it lol.

Ya DH adn I ate the top of our cake with my parents the day after my wedding. We wanted to be able to enjoy it and figured it would be gross one year later. But I hope the rest of your night was amazing!

I figured the cake would be nasty. That's why I told DH I didn't want to save ours.

LMAO same here. i do NOT plan on touching that thing. We will just order a cake or buy a box of pastries that we like. We're not sentimental like that and our anniversay would totally be espoiled if we both develop stomach rot from rancid cake
