ugh - totally understood. i guess some of those dogs just can't help themselves when they're not taught!
i HAVE one of those crazy dogs...she's a terrier...or as i refer to her a Terrorist!! haha. She barks at every freakin' thing within a mile of our house...i yell at her to shut up all the time...my other dog is so mellow I tell her she needs to be more like Buddy! So sorry!!
I have the same problem here. My neighbors dog is a tiny little thing and doesnt shut the F up. He is always barking all it drives me crazy. I feel for you.

you can call the aspca/town and report them anonymously. they usually send someone out to speak with the owners and let them know that there have been complaints about the noise/barking. then, if it does not improve you can call again and, in many cases, they will take the dog and put it up for adoption at a shelter.
usually it doesn't get to that point but if it's really bad and the owners just don't care then it will. it happened with our neighbors. the dog actually ended up getting adopted into a much better home. hope it improves.![]()

I didnt know you could do this...its out of hand. The sad part is I have a pitbull and my pitbull is nicer then this dog~its a mutt. I would feel bad if they took the dog away from the m though.I just cant stand it-if I buy a muzzle do you think it will work?

it's very rare that it gets to the point where they take the dog away. usually, the animal control people go and tell them 'listen, your neighbors are trying to avoid a fight here- just please keep the dog inside or buy one of those shock collars to deter the barking' and 99% of the time the people do the right thing and it gets a lot better.
my neighbors just happened to be really irresponsible and it ended up that, since they were so irresponsible, it was better they took the dog and he ended up finding a good home-- someone who didn't keep him in the yard 24/7 no matter what... mind you, that was like TEN warnings later before they finally said 'we have no choice but to take him' and the people didn't care so much that they were like whatever- take him! terrible!
hope it works - you can look up online based on what town you live in for the number. if you don't call the right place just explain the situation and they'll direct you.
