I don't know what came over me. I made Martha Stewart's Croque Monsieur recipe (which was UNBELIEVABLY GOOD) along with carmelized pears and onions for lunch. Then I used the left over blueberries that were in my fridge and going bad and made blueberry muffins. Then I made WW Cheddar Cheese soup. Then we got a last minute invite to a friends house to watch the Jets game and I made beer meatballs and carmel covered brownies. It was an unusual day for me but I was pretty impressed. I might add some of these recipes to the cookbook. I took pics too.
I never cook more then a chicken dish or french toast, I think working on the NW cookbook and watching Julie and Julia has inspired me.

I never do that, she kind of inspired. I thought it would be fun for my first year together scrap book. I am a scrap book queen, I always am thinking about pages for it when I take pics.

Re: I cooked up a storm today....
Sounds like a really fun day! I should've tried to do some cooking or something today. I've been kinda blah all day.
I need a project this week to bring me back to the happier side of things. I hate to make that a food project, but it's better than buying another sweater I don't need or something...
Can't wait to see the pics! Keep up the great work!

I am going to make truffles in early Feb.
Usually my projects are scrap-booking, but I enjoy cake decorating and cooking too.

in college I learned to cross stitch
thats why I scrap book to de-stress, but scrap-booking is a super expensive hobby.

Here is the Croque Monsieur
Making the Paninis:
I didn't get the sauce thick enough so it didn't bubble up quite the way it should and coat it, so it didn't look right, but it tasted right.
