Woot finally after months of deliberation DH and I have decided to go to Ireland.. I just clicked the 'buy' button on the website.. I feel good!!! Spending our 1st wedding anniversary and my 30th b-day in july there woot woot!!! We are just going to spend the money and do it.. The housing market is just going to keep falling and we can still save.. I guess I am also parnoid also that after we buy a house we are going to be so house poor we won't be able to go anywhere.. I dont' want to have those regrets..
I had to share I was so excited.. If anyone else has the urge to go to Ireland...Authenticireland.com I ordered the self drive tour with B&B farmhouses... They have really good off season rates.. but due to my teaching job I have to go in July.. My camera is going to go into a coma after I finishing using it there .. lol -L

You and DH are going to have a fabulous time!!! My DH and I went to Ireland for 16 days for our HM! We rented a car and drove a complete circle around the country. We had a blast!! Enjoy it!! FM me if you have any questions.

I can't wait.. I kind of wished we did this for our honeymoon last year.. but you know what we are going this year.. I am so excited.. I would love to hear what to do in the south and the west coast. we are flying into shannon..

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or concerns about Ireland. My parents are Irish immigrants, so I travel there frequently to visit family and friends.
You're going to have a great time.... but i am warning you now... the cost of living there right now is INSANE! DH and I actualyl didn't go last summer because it's so bad.... the Euro is not in your favor, and Ireland is very expensive at present.
Plus side...the summer days are sooo long... doesn't get dark until 11 PM, the landscape is beautiful and the people are great!
