I did some posting on the BHB board today

I hadn't been on 'that' side for such a long time and felt it was time to do some posting to help our future brides.
Go on over and answer a few questions. It was fun to remember wedding stuff again.

I go over there every once in a while but it seems that the brides over there are 'smarter' than we were when we were planning our weddings so the advice goes un-noticed sometimes!!

Thinking that you're smarter and being smarter are two different things! I'd much rather take the advice of someone who has BTDT than someone as clueless as I am.

Then again, I shamelessly spend more time on every other board than BHB. I'm sick of planning this friggen thing and just want it to be here already!

You are so right....for me, it's 4 years ago, and the times they are a-changing! I feel as though some of my info on baby stuff is even outdated!

Speaking of price warping..i cant believe how much the prices have gone up in the past few years. My friends has been looking at a lot of my vendors and all of them have gone up at least 20%...thats a hell of a lot in a couple of years!!
