Love Rachel Ray- she has one thats called like 2, 4, 6, 8-- its all recipes that are themed for whatever size group you are cooking for.

My mom also gave me this food network one that has giada, rachel ray, bobby flay, emerill and all the food network chefs favorites- been using that a lot lately and its been amazing- i'll get the title for you tonight if you want

Yes! Rumor has it that they can't afford to renew their lease so they're moving out and panera is moving in

I really like the America's Test Kitchen series books. One I have that I use all the time the Best Make-Ahead Recipe. It explains how to make dishes to compensate for putting them in the freezer and how you have to adapt them. I think that the recipes are great and easy to follow.

I also like Giada DeLaurentiis' Everyday Italian and Everyday Pasta. Everyday Italian is a really great basic Italian cookbook. You don't need a ton of ingredients to make her recipes (as opposed to Rachel Ray-who uses a lot of spices that I never have on hand).
