Shouldn't this just be the Newlyweds board? Didn't there used to be a pinned thread somewhere saying that advice about wedding stuff should be posted elsewhere?

but i soooooooo do not want to do that'circle of life thing'where we r supposed to be mean or whatever

i was going to post this, but i didn't want to be 'that girl'

Im all for 10, 11 and 12 brides and giving them my wifely wisdom, but idk the 08ers didnt let us post on this board, so i feel we shouldnt let anyone else post on it

i feel like we are letting the 08ers down, by not being nasty to the BTB posting on NW...

there is always BHB, which i look on, where girls can ask their questions.

ITA...plus no one is ever on the 09 board anymore. So if the 10ers have questions for already married girls this is their best bet of getting some answers. Especially since so few of them are already married. I could see it were like June and they were all asking questions here but we're only 5 days in to their year. Personally it doesn't bother me at all.

Edited b/c I though today was the fourth and it is in fact the 5th!

I would never be mean to them but I really dont see why they need to post on here. I still go over to BHB and answer questions over there, and Im sure the rest of you do too. So if they post over there they are still going to get an answer from us newlyweds.

I posted about this last week, mostly just asking where that sticky went and some '10 girls got pretty upset.

I guess there's always going to be a sort of hierarchy here. I always thought of the '08 girls as the seniors in high school and we were the juniors who looked up to and had to listen to them. Now I guess we're the seniors...wonder how long it will be until we're feeling like the loser college kids still hanging around with high schoolers!

idk i feel like maybe they shouldn't post here...i was TERRIFIED to post, and i would preface my posts with '09er crashing' i think i posted twice before i was a NW. i just think that this isn't the place for non-NWs...but i also feel like we should be able to post anywhere...so maybe i shouldnt be talking!! lol

i got yelled at my an 07er and an 08er for posting once...lol

but im not gonna yell at a 10er...they have never done anything wrong to us...they just LOVE Us

i was afraid to post on here b4 but basically its cause the nws hated me...i mean when u r dubbed a minnie mouse hew a by 150 girls u really dont want to go n post

i just feel like to casually post or respond would not be cool..but if u had a question and maybe noone on bhb was answering or u were desperate i wouldnt mind..i mean they r going to be nws from 10 coming every day now and i would not want them tonot feel welcome or anything..idk..i just dont want to be remembered as the biotchy 09 girls

Phew, I'm so glad I'm not alone on this one. This is like Mean Girls, and we're the girls who are not mean!

And I agree with Gail, wedding stuff was so last year. I don't mind talking about it now, and once in awhile I do get in the mood and stuff, and maybe this is because my one year anniversary is approaching. But I am really starting to get to the point where I am avoid wedding stuff. QOTDs, some of the picture posts, etc. I give advice when I have time to go over there, but overall I'm more interested in other things now. I want to keep this board as our sacred place.
