and have for almost 2 weeks now. I don't think I am sick but I just feel so so horrible. I am so tired and rundown and now all my damn joints ache. I can barely walk I hope i get better for TWOTY.
I don't have a fever but I keep saying I am going to call the doctor but I haven't because I am too damn busy at work.

I had mono when I was 18 and I have NEVER been the same since.. I am always tired and sluggish and they can't find anything 'wrong' with me. They did however tell me 2 years after the fact that I still had traces of the mono bug in my system still so maybe that has something to do with it. I honestly think that sickness is one that messes with you permanently. Here I am in the prime of my life and I have to be in bed by 10:30 everynight otherwise I am unable to get up in the morning!

I didn't yesterday. I know im terrible. But then I stayed up half the night crying (literally) in pain and can barely sit at my desk so I am going to the GYN today at 11:30. Its def a that kind of doctor pain now..

ugggggg I'm so sorry!!! I've had cysts before and they are horrible!!! Do you have to have it surgically removed????

Me too Jen...they stink but they usually break up on their own...I get it every month when I ovulate...AWFUL pain! try compresses and ibuprofen!

They did an internal sonogram and found the cyst on my left ovary, however I went in complaining about horrible pain on my right side and only a little pain on my left. They said the pain on the right side is probably from the cyst. They did say they are hoping it will break up on its own, etc. (i am clueless with this stuff).... but she was concerned about the area and amount of pain on my right side and wants me to call back in 2 days. If the pain is still there then I need to go have my appendix checked.
I really think it is just pain from the cysts and my not appendix. I am going to go back to them next month to check the cyst. For now they said alot of motrin... except I have a bunch of left over vicodin so I think ill just use that instead!
I left really upset because I felt like I was rushed out of the office and didn't get many questions answered.

awww jen...im so sorry. I got mine diagnosed a month before the wedding an panicked! My sis and BIL are OBGYNs so if you have any questions or concerns and want me to put you in touch with them please let me know!

Jenny I truly don't want to scare you but if you feel uncomfortable PLEASE go for a second opinion. I have a bad history with cysts.. When I was 19 I was rushed to the hospital with severe pains and cramping whithin a few hours I was in the OR having a cyst the size of an orange removed. Fast forward to my late 20's I had pain in my side and I kept complaining to my doctors about my history. The doctor ordered a sono and found a large cyst on my right ovary she said they would 'watch' it and come back in 3 months. Well the pain grew worse and 3 days after my sono I developed a fever back to the ER and back to the OR I went this time they had to remove my Ovary because in a matter of days the cyst wrapped itself around my ovary. They wanted to do a full hysterectomy on me but I refused to sign the authorization. So now I'm only half the women I used to be...
Yes my cause is rare and 98% of cyst dissolve on there own but only you know your body better then anybody and if your not comfortable with the doctors response don't take chance with your reproductive system. If you have any questions please FM me I'm a weirdo and kept all my medical records.

Pain on right side thats bad and they are having you wait two days to check your appendix... three times I have had pain on my right side and even with the history of cysts they always send me for a CAT to be sure, since appendicitis is life threatening. If it hurts any more tonight or if the pain gets sharp do yourself a favor and go to the e-room.
I have had a huge history of cysts, one that was so large when it ruptured I had to be carried naked out of the shower and DH rushed me to the emergency room, but to get from campus to there the health center gave me a pain killer shot in my butt. One thing I was told and I find help cysts to dissolve or rupture sooner then later is taking hot baths. The sooner it ruptures or dissolves the better off you will be.
