I feel ostracized at work because I am a married woman...

and everyone at my office is single & parties every night in the city.

I am married and I actually LIKE going home at a decent hour and spending time with my DH. I felt like I was in HS today....my coworker said she was out til 3am and I was like, 'I was out cold by 11pm!LOL' and she and a few others were like 'what a loser' (jokingly) but sort of not joking....I feel like I'm in HS!

I did my fair share of partying in my day but it's just different now. Plus I don't live in the city, I live in NJ.

Why do they make me feel uncool I hate that!

Ahh don't listen to them - you are the coolest!! They just don't know it yet!
I used to be the single one in the office, and believe me deep down I always wished I was married!

My DH is the only married guy that goes out and parties with the single guys in his office. The marrieds go home to their DWs. He doesn't understand why that gets me mad. And the all live in the city, so I know what you mean. He gets pressure if he doesn't go out. It's high school all over again. This is our biggest fight. Hey, it's ok to go out with co-workers, but I don't think there is a need to stay out until 2am on a weeknight. Sorry to highjack, but I just couldn't help myself.

Don't let them get to you. As much as they may tease you, I can assure you that the majority of them are jealous that you have someone special to go home to.
