I feel like SUCH a grown up. DH and I bought new couch & overstuffed chair from ABC Carpet & Home. Wow, new major furniture... no more hand-me-downs from my Mom! Whoo hoo..

I know how it feels - DH and I have been on our own for over 7 years but have all hand me downs. When we got married and moved into our new apartment we bought a real dining room set. W ehaven't used it much but we felt like such grown-ups!!!

it does make you feel like a grown-up huh? I said that to my husband when our furniture was delivered!! He just looked at me a laughed. Im glad someone else feels the same way!!

I know the feeling, just the other day I was going home and pushing my key in to the lock I was like, hey I am a grown up I own my own home Enjoy your new stuff. We need to start looking for new LR furniture now.
I can't wait to finally be in a place where I can paint the walls!!

I hear ya!! We just ordered our dining room furniture!! We've been in our house 2+ years already adn have lived without a dining room set. I am so excited. Congrats on your purchase... I love ABC.
