I finally put together...
My Album! I went to the photographer yesterday and put the albums together, picked out leather for the covers, etc. i thought the way they explained the appointment that i would be sitting there doing the layout, but the designer just helped me weed out a few pictures, add a few different ones and put them in the order they will be in in the album. Now i have to wait about 7 months to get the design layout to approve it and then it will go to binding! i figured about a year to get my album, so this is just a few months over. we'll probably get our video around our anniversary, so that will be nice.
did anyone else add more pictures into their album then they had in their contract? i really tried to keep it down to 75, but i knew i would go over. then i thought the designer would help me weed out pictures, but i should have known they would just want my money! well i went over by 24 pictures and i'm paying about $700 more for my album now. i figured i would be paying $300-400 more, but was a little surprised at $700. I was surprised that my mom said just do it, it's your wedding album. I figured she would have gone crazy! but i felt better about it b/c my ILs paid for the photographer, so it's not like we're laying out more money. we're just adding to it! I didn't tell DH how much more though!![]()
