I forgot to tell you guys THIS one....
So you know how I had Ella’s birthday party last weekend? And how my dad brought my sister’s 2 kids (and didn’t send a gift… ahem)? I forgot to tell you this part.
My 10 year old nephew was sucking on an empty Gatorade bottle. He was sucking so hard, that he was suctioning it to his face. Yeah, very funny kid.
So he did it SO hard & SO many times that he gave himself a red ring around his mouth, you know, like a hickey. It was like a very thin mustache of broken blood vessels.
My father starts telling me to put makeup on it & cover it up. Ridiculous. I am not putting cover-up on a 10 year old boy. He’s my nephew, not Boy George. The kid is messed up enough, I am not going to introduce makeup & cross dressing into his life. But thanks.
So my father, in his infinite wisdom, takes a handkerchief out of his pocket (he’s 70, he still uses them) and tied it around my nephew's neck. Like Jesse James And tells him to play cops & robbers. Um, ok.
So here’s my nephew walking around the party wearing this stupid fricking thing across his mouth. My DH’s aunt, who I ADORE says “OH Andrew, you’re SO SCARY! You look like a robber! Please don’t rob me” and hold up her hands (like she’s being held up.)
My nephew’s reply?
“Lady, if I was going to rob you, I’d wear a ski mask.”
Greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat. My in-laws are now ALL talking about it. And saying how 'its not his fault, it's his mother.' Awesome. Beth strikes again.
Below is my MIL, my dad, Ella & my sister’s kids. Note the bandana around my nephew’s neck & the red mustache.
