I got asked if I'm pregnant today.

Now maybe it was a cultural/language thing, but one of the parent's of a kid in my program saw me and rubbed her stomach and pointed at me, smiling, basically gesturing 'are you pregnant'. She's not a native English speaker and isn't from here but it was all acted out anyways. I said no and laughed and then told a coworker and asked if I look preggo and she laughed and was like 'hellllls no...you actually look super thin today'.

So yeah, that happened. I swear I haven't even gained weight!

I don't know whether to laugh or cry about this!

EDITED to clarify. I am NOT pregnant!

Some people are just on a different wavelength or in this case, from a different culture...she probably associates marriage with pregnancy.

Don't worry people are just stupid, I was hosting a bridal shower a few months after my wedding, with a giant glass of wine in hand and because I was rubbing my tummy (I was full from lunch!), another girl at the shower asked me if I was pregnant.

Laught at it!!! Don't cry! Just be more careful when you are rubbing your belly.

Even if you were preggers, why do people feel the need to ask?
