Kim...

I brought the proofs to John in the beginning of Dec...then we went for the proofing in the end of Feb...and then our album was ready in the beginning of May...but I had to have it mailed to me...and it took me awhile to get him our new address...

Erica, i'm glad you loved your album...and thanks for the timeframes on when you got it. I had no idea it took that long!

Yes, Cassarino takes an eternity for 60 photos in our main album, 9-10 months. It's been 9 months waiting for our God forsaken professional pics. OMG!! We paid the final balance in October and our contract said 9-10 months thus it's July 2003. Mind you our wedding was August 2002! Long time! Just posting that I'm happy! We are using Cassarino for both photo and video and they take God forsaken an eternity!!! 9-10 months for our main albums, including parents and enlargements??? Too too long. I think 3-5 months is enough time from taking the pictures to developing and album making plus enlargements or loose photos. I feel like this big heavy weight has been lifted off my shoulder to get both set of parents off our backs. They think we 'owe' our guests-specifically our extended families a photo and our parents think we are obligated to send a 5'X 7' photo. Oh, I'm soo relived and very excited! I hope it's everything we discussed with the album designer.

yay!

we used photoshop & powerpoint to 'design' our album (scanned all the proofs and determined the order, composition and mats), so now we have a digital version of our exact album that we converted to a .pdf.
