I got my new SS card..

I got my new SS card..

..in the mail yesterday!! And it feels so weird to see my new last name..

I wonder how long it will take to get used to it??

I'm sure it'll take a while. It's very bizarre to me- but I've only been married over 2 weeks.

I got mine last week - it is so weird!!! I think it's going to take awhile to get used to it. I still feel like I'm just pretending, know what I mean?

It didn't take too long for me to get used to it, a few months maybe. At first it did feel like we were 'just playing house' but once I really started to use my new name and receiving mail with it then it became more real.

Now it's the opposite, when I look at my degrees and old paperwork with my maiden name it looks funny!!

It's been almost five months for me and I'm kind of getting used to it. I'm kind of in limbo now b/c I sitll answer to my old name and I'm getting used to my new name. Ahhh!!
