I guess beggers can't be choosers...

But DH booked our room at Bally's. I told him Harrah's and he said it's 'ghetto'.

Whatever, we got a free room, and it has an indoor pool and a ben and jerry's.

I've never been there, DH has. I believe BIL gets comp rooms at the tropicana and DH said it was 'OK' there.


I don't trust DH's judgment on anything...everything is either 'OK' or 'Ghetto'. I was raving about our cruise ship....granted it was my first one, but of course DH had to find flaws, and I didn't see one flaw at all!

Next trip, I'm going without him. LOL.

HARRAH'S is the way to go.. All new rooms..One of the TOP hotels in AC aside from Borgata.. Only thing is that harrahs isnt on the boardwalk.

If u had another option for a free room see if Ceasars gives u a free room-thats on the boardwalk as well.. fairly newer than ballys...usually when u have a free room in one of the harrahs properties..its available in all..

LOL, i just asked Dh when the last time he was at Harrah's because he said he stayed there, and he said 10 years ago. The website had nice pictures. lol.

x2! The pool area alone is enough to choose Harrah's!

the older room at Harrah's are OLD and ok ghetto...

but overall the hotel / casino / restaurants are GREAT..if you can stay in the new tower, it will def be worth every penny

WAY better than Bally's

ITA !!! Harrahs is gorgeous !! I feel like Ballys is outdated and for an older crowd. It is nothing compared to Harrahs. But it will still be a good time ! Just because you have a room there doesnt mean you cant go visit all of the other hotels !!
