We received some missing wedding gifts, one of which was a very generous one from my mom's cousins that was causing drama in my extended family. The other was random small stuff from one of my registries from DH very weathly cousins. He was really pissed and I am just glad it wasn't my side of the family!

I have received gifts up until a couple of weeks ago. Some people really do wait the year.

I have one friend who keeps telling me her gift is coming soon. She has a month & day to make the year mark, but now that we don't work together, I don't see her much!

I know that there is technically some rule out there that people can wait a year to give a gift, but I personally think it is tacky!
It is like they are dragging their feet on it, so that takes away from the sentiment that is supposed to be behind the gift and makes me wonder why they bother.
