I HATE CHIPMUNKS!

and Im not talking about Alvin, Simon & Theodore either....


I used to think chipmuks were cute & sweet little creatures until about 3 years ago when they made a permanent home in my flower beds. Each year DH & I have been trying to do the humane thing & set a trap & release them somewhere down the thruway...well this year my flower bed is the WORST Ive ever seen - it looks like the beds of Beruit instead of something nice & pretty - there are holes...EVERYWHERE - Im at my wits end...Im all for trying to protect the wildlife...but Im ready to break out the poison & just kill these PITA's once & for all...

Does anyone have any other suggestions before I resort to putting out poison? I hate to do it - but my plants & shrubs are getting DESTROYED...

at first i thought you were going to say alvin simon and theodore!! and i was going to be sad, cuz i LOVE THEM! i swear when i was a kid i had a crush on Alvin and i wanted to be Britney!!! LOL

anyways sorry they ruined your flowers and put holes everywhere...

i dont know if this will work, but my parents use moth balls in their garden to keep the pesty stray cats out! the cats still show up and the front of their house smells like moth balls so i dont know if thats the best solution! but maybe it would work for chipmunks!

Don't know if this well help if you have a veggie garden or something... this solution would prob defeat the purpose. But maybe if it's just flowers it'll work?
