Re: I hate my skin
I'm the wrong person to ask. I am convinced I'll have acne forever. I'm effing 30 for chrissakes, what is the issue?
I just used Skyn, my skin cleared for a little and then it ****** again and its really expensive.
Now I'm using something else and my skins been foul but i'm hoping its just clearing out. I can't remember the name of it, its that expensive stuff they sell at CVS. Anyone?
Before that I was using St Ives Green Tea cleanser, before that, Aveeno.
My skin will never be clear!
Texture wise though, the Clairsonic has helped me. It made my skin much smoother and therefore my makeup looks better

Re: I hate my skin
I was using ProActiv for a while... it def helped but isn't the miracle cure it claims to be.
Lately I've been using the L'Oreal cleanser that comes with that little scrubbing pad, along with the ProActiv toner and lotion I still have left. I feel like I should be moving on to wrinkle creams, not still trying to deal with this!

Re: I hate my skin
I've had problem skin most of my life and have been using Oil of Olay face wash w/ toner in it followed by their moisturizer for sensitive skin. I've been using this for years now and my skin has totally cleared up. I also have been using Bare Escentuals (sp?) make up for years and that always seems to keep my skin clear too. HTH

Re: I hate my skin
It sounds like you may have rosacea. Have you tried any products aimed at removing the redness? Eucerin redness relief is good. It is a gentle face wash. Personally I would go to a dermatologist. I spent a lot of money on product that made my skin worse. The face wash the dermatologist prescribed treated the redness and pimples I had and I regret waiting so long to go...In the end I was told I had made my skin worse b/c I was using products that were irritating my skin. Good luck.

I recently bought the AcneFree system, you can get it at cvs/walgreens/ulta, etc and I have to say it really works!

I am using that now. It is better than most other products I have tried.
