I HATE THE SUBWAY!!!

It just took me forever to get into work becasue of switching problems at Queens plaza...the tain was running like molasses. I HATE THE SUBWAY...and thye want me to pay more for this BS,,,GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I just needed to VENT.

there are days when i love the subway...but on days like this??? UGH. they need to give us REASON for this dumba** fairhike!

IF it makes you feel better the 7 was SLOW today. I only take it 2 stop across town but had to wait forever for it and it was packed!

The 7 was slow becasue of the switching problems on the E,F,V,R. They were all running local so the 7 was running all local from Flushing to Queens Plaza to accomodate the people switching over to take the 7 at Roosevelt Ave.

I went from the R to the #7 to the #2 this morning.

Not sure what time you all were on the 7 this morning but they told us around 7:45am that there was a stalled train at either 45th Road or Hunters Point. I sat in a train at 61st-Woodside for a 1/2 an hour while they tried to figure out what to do. At one point all Manhattan-bound service was suspended and they told everyone to back track to 74th Street. I just sat tight and eventually the train went local all the way to Queensbrough Plaza.

Oh the joys of the 7.... and they want us to pay more for this superb service!!! I HATE the MTA with an unholy passion!!!!

i had the same issue and was stuck at 71st forever... luckily it could have been a lot worse... but everyday it's something... imagine how bad it'll be with service cuts

the 7 train was horrible today!! they used one track to send trains back and forth.. and the station manager was all attitude , she was screaming over the intercom when people asked her questions..

I must say since moving to LI, I miss the subway. I hate LIRR!

between the subway hike and the LIRR hike I am out an extra like $80-$100 a month! (Im not sure what the hike is for LIRR yet.)
I cut out the subway in the mornings to save money. Plus its healthier to walk. Im within a realistic distance though. But it keeps raining so I take it. I hope it stays nice out!

When I took the subway, I paid $81 a month, sometimes less because I didn't buy the monthly. Now I pay $185 and it's going up to $235. When I drove to work I spent too much on gas.

What I hate about LIRR - the cost, the schedule, waiting outside in the cold, wind and rain. And you are SCREWED when there are problems.

With the subway - it was cheaper, it had a better schedule, if there was a problem I could take other lines or jump on LIRR. Whenever I had issues with the subway running late, nothing I could do. I just read my book and relaxed while everyone else b1tched and complained lol. Plus when it rains I'm underground so I'm dry!

I agree with both of you in both cases...guess I just hate commuting...LOL.

I hate the subway because it stinks like a$$, it's super crowded all the time, when your stuck in the tunnel it's so tense, the seats are hard and everyone is on top of you.

I hate the LIRR because it's outside and in the winter it S U C K S, sometimes the bathroom cars smell, if they are delayed or stuck you are kinda screwed and if you miss the train it ***** to be on a schedule whearas the subway is just always around.

COmmuting is a no-win situation.

OMG the subway can be soooo frustrating at times!!! I took it for about 10 years when I lived at home - when something goes wrong, it's like the whole system falls apart

i remember back when I had to take the train from Long Island to Penn Station for work and it was the worst. I hated it so much.
