i have a question

Say u are very close to ur brother and he is now goin to get married...is uit excepted to be a bridemaid..is it wrong for her to say I wasn't plannin onn putting ur sis in the wedding party...

How about if the boy has a really good gf since they were born and tells the girl that he woild like her to be a bridemaid what do u think??

My bro not getting married anytime soon but wasn talking to him and he said he talked to his g one day and she said maybe about me and prob no about his bestfriend. So he goes and tell me about this and I know that I dnt know her that well yet but I'm still his sister

Re: i have a question

If this is important to your brother, than I think you should def. be in a wedding! My brother was not in ours, but I am not close to him. DH asked me if I would like my brother to be a GM though, which I appreciated.

What is the relationship between your brother and his close female friend? If they dated or ever liked each other, I could see her hesitation. If not, there's no reason to reject a friend from a BP if they are that close to the bride or groom.

BPs are less traditional today--I'd say that he should go for what makes him happy! One of our friends got married a couple of years ago, and her close guy friend was listed as a 'bridesmaid' because her husband didn't want another GM. He wore a tux, but he just stood on the same side as the other BMs. I thought it was really cute :).
