Please answer if anyone has been in this situation. I recently came off the pill and I have not gotten my friend yet. I have been on the pill for seven years and my doctor did tell me it will take a while before my body regulates. Fpr those of you who came off the pill how long did it take you to get your period and when you did was it around the same time?

Re: I have a question for you ladies?
It is not neccessarily to skip a preiod after going off the pill. I was on the pill for 8 years and I've been pretty regular. 29 days the first month and 30 this past month.

Re: I have a question for you ladies?
I was only on the pill for a short period of time - 6-8 months at best, but the month after I stopped taking the pill I still had my little friend come visit. Like clockwork. Sorry to be nosey but have you taken a PG test?

The only times I stopped taking the pill I 1) Got pregnant right away 2) went straight on the patch.
Are you TTC?

I've gone on and off the pill and skipped a month before. I was never very regular to begin with before I took them.

I had to go off after the wedding bc my prescription ran out (long story). Anyway - it took a month and a half to get my period. I went to the gyno and she said that it happens sometimes and is normal.

Re: I have a question for you ladies?
I've been on the pill for 11 years and my period is still screwed up. LOL - I've come off of it a couple of times when I was taking medication and my period started the next day. Are you sure you're not pregnant?

I was on the pill for 2 weeks and it did not agree with me and it messed up my cycle, I was 2 weeks late, it just took my body some time to get back in cycle. HTH

Re: I have a question for you ladies?
Been on and off the pill several times. I have a history of endometriosis and fibroids. It has been different every time I went off and each time my Dr. was not worried at all.
Did you wait until the end of a pill pack to stop? I always feel that is the best way to go off. However, right now I am on continuous pills and never get my period, so it won't matter when I stop.
