I have an idea...

This may sound a little silly, but on another message board I am on there is a weekly challenge that is supposed to help everyone get to know each other better.

Someone will post a criteria (HM place, favorite candy, month of your birthday or wedding, etc.) they will post a list of questions that need to be answered by someone that has the criteria in common.

For example...If the criteria was birthday month. I would look for others with an October birthday and FM the questions which could be something like:

What date is your birthday?

Do you have a favorite flavored birthday cake?

What's your favorite way to spend your birthday?

etc.

Then all the answers get posted on that thread. We may find we have something in common with someone we never 'talked' to before and we all get to know each other a little more. (For instance, on this other MB, I met someone that has the same birth month, wedding month and favorite vacation destination).

Christine - I was so glad to see you posted a picture on that other thread - you hardly ever post pictures. Oh yeah - is Bob that kitty cat I met in the Hamptons years ago? If so I have a cute picture of him.

Theme this week is 'Celebrate Good Times'

Find someone that has the same favorite holiday as you do. Have them answer the following questions:

1. Do you have an annual tradition that you do during this holiday?

2. What about this holiday, makes it your favorite?

3. What is your favorite food that is associated with this holiday?

4. Do you always have big family gatherings during the holidays or just small, quiet, intimate gatherings with a few people?


I am not sure if this helps to make the game more clear. On the other message board all the responses become an entry in a drawing for a small prize but I don't know how to work that here.

Yeah, like do we each answer the questions in a separate reply?

I'll post a question tomorrow. It will have limited answers to keep it simple. The search for people with something in common can be on another thread and the questions should be answered through FM but the answers will all be posted on the original thread.

Niecey ~ we brought my sisters cat to the hamptons. Remember how little he was? Not any more - he is 20+ pounds now He's still sweet though. I remember that you are really allergic so you weren't around him too much.
