I have an itch.......

the baby itch lol DH and me originally said we want to wait atleast 2 years before we start trying, but lately whenever I see a baby my maternal instincts kick in. Anyone else getting the itch before they planned to?

yup i am!!! we tried for the 1st 2 month we were married and said if we dont get pregnant then we will wait 2 yrs but everytime i see the baby bump i get the itch sooo bad i was just reading on JLO and how she might be preggo and it makes me want DH to come home and try LOL but then i see how my friends who are married and aunts and uncle with babies and see how they cant do much cause of the baby, makes me want to hold off and wait. i guess it will happen when the time is right. but as of this moment i want alittle one lol

I know we wanted to wait a while.. but, I dont know I am such a nervous nelly... I just want to try and make sure everything is okay you know? I always hear these stories of people waiting and having trouble once they start...... but, then I also want to enjoy being married and living alone with my dh!!!

I had the itch SOoooo bad for a few years even before I was engaged!!!

Then my stupid sister got knocked up by some a**hole and had a beautiful little boy who is WORK and a bit of a TERROR.......

Let's just say the itch disappeared really fast!!!!

We are talking about TTC around our 1 year anniversary...we'll see if that changes , I just don't want to wait to long.

Exactly if I knew all was good. I would totally be happy waiting another couple of years... but, I guess it doesnt work that way...

I'm in the same boat...I wish there was a way for me to find out that I could get pregnant whenever we decide the time is right, becasue God forbid there might be a problem I would wanna start fixing it sooner rather than later!

well thats why DH and i said we will try in a year or two so if there is something that needs to be fixed or tried out we can start early so by the time things work out we wont be 40 or 50 yrs old havin gour 1st baby lol we really wanted to wait 5yrs but i told him i cant wait that long lol

I kinda have the itch too. But its weird.. I see my friends & family who recently had babies and see firsthand how much work it is , but I also love the idea of having kids younger because I look at my mom & think its great that she's so young. But the itch is definitely there .. right now we're shooting for sometime next year

the only itch I have is the 'since i have a baby I can't work' itch... Give me a couple years, I'm sure i'll reeeeally have the itch by then

i definalty have the itch.. i want it sooo bad.. but then i am a worry wort and i wonder if we will have enough money to support a family if i don't go back to work and then i am brought back to reality when you look at the prices of formula and diapers.. fh cousin says she spends $200 a month on formula and the baby isn't even 6 monthes.. and that with nothing else.. b/c then there is health insurance and diapers and college and braces... sorry to be such a downer

I feel the same way! My sister and brother has kids - so I see how hard it is. Plus my parents had my brother 9 mths after they got married, and they always told me to wait to enjoy the married life. Plus we want a house, and we want to be financially ready for it. So I have a bit of the itch, but then when I think about it, I know we are not ready right now.

Some doctors will run fertility testing before you are ttc. If you have a family history of miscarriages, strokes, clotting issues or unexplained infertility they are more likely to help. I actually started infertility testing over a year and a half before we got married. It took the year and a half just to get the ok from my doctors to even try. We got pregnant our third month of trying. If we had waited I would still be going through all the testing now instead of being almost 6 months along.

I feel the same way! We said we'd wait 2-3 years but every time I see my nephew or any other baby I want my own!

of course every now & then i think about it...i think we all do. But then i remind myself of how much i'm enjoying my hubby right now - and how i love that we can just go out(whether it be dinner, the movies, with friends, etc.) when we feel like it, or take a little mini-vacay(or a long one!) if we want...i can't imagine NOT being able to do that yet...so for now i'm enjoying it :) i figure i'm young, i have huge goals for my career etc. It's funny 'cause DH always said ' i want a baby right away! RIGHT AWAY!' and i was always like 'noowaaay!'...lol well DH's brother & his wife had twins and it totally fixed DH's itch..now it's like 'WE'RE WAITING.' anyways - i think we all think about it from time to time - and it'll happen when it's suppsed to i guess...but for now i'm forcing myself to wait & i'll shed all my love on my beautiful neices & nephews lol
