I have good news and bad news....

Well, my professional pictures arrived today and many looked beautiful - thats the good news.

The bad news is....

my 8x10s came stacked in a box all out of order...I have to put them in my album myself...they did not send me my video or pics of DH and I as kids that we submitted (maybe tomorrow they will )...and this is what upsets me - the picture I was really looking forward to having is not there at all.

It is the wedding rings pic with our hands over the bouquet. I know the photog took it , I remember that, but it's not there at all. I told my DH that I swear I will go to the florist, have my bo-k recreated, get a French Manicure and have it redone. I am really upset.

Brides to be...NEVER try to save $$ on pics...not worth it.

I am so sorry to hear about thie. BUT, I am glad to hear you finally got something! I hope you have some good ones. I'd call them about your hands and bo-k shot!!!

Maybe they have more film?.... We actually didnt get that pic either..... we took it with the disposable cameras the next day though. Not the same! Keep your fingers crossed!!!!!

Well look at it this way- you say that you are happy with your pics- that is a GOOD thing.

I would also find out if there is some film out there that they have not given you.

After the wedding day has come and come we ALL learn some valuable lessons.

jen, i'm sorry about your bouquet picture but it does sound like it could be a LOT worse! And luckily, that is a photo that can easily be re-created. can't wait to see the others!

Oh yes I would definitely call him and find out where those pictures are. Make sure you get what you paid for. I actually got my albums this weekend and I'm very happy with them. The only thing we are waiting for is our DVD...He already gave us the VHS video version but the DVD wasnt ready because the machine broke and they had to get a new one and also he said that he is putting all our proof pictures on CD which is great so now I dont have to go crazy looking for a photo album that fits the size of the proofs because they are a weird size, like a 5 x 5...LOL

But I did get back all baby, dating and honeymoon pics I submitted to them and the original proofs and even the negatives. So I got my money's worth and that's why you should call...stay on top of them...my Photographer called and let me know when each thing was ready but I still would call myself...Keep hounding them if you have to...on the phone and in person Sweetie...Good Luck and let us know what happens.
