I have such issues..... ugh Updated.....

So... Remember about a week and a half ago I had a wicked case of the thirsties??? I was so parched that I was continually drinking water and had no idea why???

So I had blood work done from one dr and my sugar came back fine.. no diabetes.. but I was still parched...

So my other dr takes a different set of blood work and it came back with my thyroid levels super high..

Today I have an appointment with an endocrinologist to see what's going on with my thyroid.. fabulous... BUT on a good note, I lost about 6-7lbs in the last 3 weeks which I am attributing to this thyroid nonsense... I am kinda nervous bc I hope it's nothing serious but my aunt had a thyroid problem so I am wondering if it's in our blood.. I will let you all know..

So in the midst of all this, I have my wisdom tooth out last week and ever since then I felt like my bite is off.. so I go to the oral surgeon and he tells me I am not crazy and that I need to have my tooth filed down...

So after my Endocrinologist appt, I now have to go to the dentist to have her fix my tooth (what's good is that the tooth is already dead from the root canal so I won't feel it when she fixes it!!)

But I am petrified... I am so afraid they are going to find some sort of thyroid problem... So if you can sent a little love my way.. I would be ever so greatful!!!!

**Update***

So I just got back from the dr and I have no idea.. He is sending me for a glucose tolerance test to rule out diabetes.. said that the drugs I am already on MAY be the cause of the high thyroid and then something about my estrogen levels.. W-T-F.... so I have to go back in 3 weeks after all these lab tests I have to take and then go from there... and I am STILLL THIRSTY!!!!!

Im sorry you are going through this right now it def. ***** Im actually doing the glucose test tomorrow , which brings me to my question , did they do a pregnancy test b/c thats one of the symptoms that i have been having andDH laughs b/c I hated water and now I DRINK 1 gallon a day and cant seem to get enough !! Either way I hope you are healthy

Not pregnant... took 2 tests both negative and got my period last wednesday... EVERYONE thought I was pregnant too!!!

Not pregnant... took 2 tests both negative and got my period last wednesday... EVERYONE thought I was pregnant too!!!

Thanks Ladies..

I guess it's a good thing that they are trying to rule out other things first... just a pain waiting, ya know??

But the whole thirsty thing is pretty good bc it's keeping my appetite suppressed and I was looking to lose a few lbs!!!!

HEy hun. Dont worry too much. If it is a thyroid problem, it wont be a big deal. 5 people in my family have thyroid diseases, and DH's mom has it too. It does run in familes, so if someone in your family has had hyperthyroid, its likely thats what your problem is. It can all be regulated with medication and wont cause any serious problems.
