I was away this weekend with my cousins and sisters, aunts, etc. and we all realized that our cousin's new wife spelled her new last name wrong on their thank you card!!!! We thought it was just a mistake on one, but she did it on all of ours!! How crazy is that?
So lesson learned, know your new last name and know it well before sending thank you's to your husband's family!!! YIKES

Of course we felt embarassed for her, but a little taken back also.The name is not as easy as Smith, but it's not so hard either. I know that my new last name is not easy to spell and people always spell it wrong, but it was going to be my new last name, bottom line. I knew the proper spelling of it, the first few months we were dating.

It is kinda funny though!
How long were they together before they married? I guess she wasn't like a lot of women who practice writing their married name before the wedding. Or maybe she did and wrote it wrong each time.

That is kinda funny! I'm just glad we had cards with our names letterpressed on them, and I had DH proofread them before they were printed! I have checked them over a few times in the process of writing thank you notes because I'm paranoid
