I just found my old wedding notebook

It's got all of my weekly to-do lists in there as well a record of the money spent, and also different ideas when I was still unsure as to what I would use for favors, centerpieces, etc. I was just reading through it and got so sentimental. lol. It made me remember how much fun it was to be engaged & planning my wedding. I seem to have only been able to remember how stressful it was, until now.

And then I also found our old bank book from that time as well. Each deposit I had to give in to the Hall, DJ, Limo, etc. As well Dh's airline ticket to fly into New York for the wedding. And then it also had a whole bunch of stuff from the first few weeks of being married - like the furniture we got and hotels we stayed in along the way back to Colorado. *sigh*

Sorry girls, I just felt the need to share. Even though I'm very happy with where we are now, I'm suddenly feeling awfully nostalgic in remembering the good old days. Man, I seem to save EVERYTHING!!! I bet when I look back on these things 5, 10, 20 years from now it's gonna be even worse. hehe.

i know, sometimes i tell DH, i feel like our wedding is coming up or something.. and we are approaching our one year in a few weeks.. it is such a warm and fuzzy feeling when you think about the first few days after your engaged.. its like you can conquer the world..

I have mine at home too. It is very special!! But after seeing what I SPENT on the wedding.. I keep it closed.

I'm feeling very sentimental about the wedding this week too! Our anniversary is saturday and for the past week dh and I have been saying 'this time last year we were wrapping favors....or running to the hall....picking up tuxes, etc. I still have my wedding binder too, with all pictures of stuff i liked and vendor info. I'll never throw it out!
