I just got all nostalgic!

My friend posted an old Kickline video on my facebook from back in 96 when we performed at the Saints game and It reminded me that right after the game was my first call from DH.. I was packign up my stuff and hangin in the bleachers waiting for our bus and DH had beeped me .. it was the first time he contacted me after we met at the pizza place and I was soo excited.. ohhh the memories

What was your first memory of DH calling you?

we met online, chatted for hours and then he told me he'd call me later. at around 6:30 that night my phone rang, but i had a bunch of friends over so i told him that. he said he was going to the gym and could he call back after and we would talk. that might be the last time he went to the gym

I met DH online we chatted online for a while and he told me he was going to call me on Saturday around 7pm. He surprised me and called around 1pm. He had told me he couldnt wait to talk to me. awwwwww DH!

DH and I met in college and then lost touch for about 5 years and we connected over Facebook... we made plans to go out on a Saturday night and I waited and waited and waited and WAITED for him to call... and he finally did at like 7pm. It seemed like FOREVER since I had been waiting since the second I woke up, but it was so worth it. that first time we went out together is still one of my favorite memories of our relationship

Eh, mine don't really count since DH and I were close friends for about a year before dating. The first time I ever met him though he was going out with my BFF from highschool. I was 14, bff was 15, and DH was 17.

I met DH at his brother's band's show (I was friends with the guitarist). He followed that stupid 1 week rule and finally texted me on a Saturday night when I was at the Nutty Irishman in Farmingdale with all my girl friends lol

First phone call was the day after I met him...I was literally getting out of the shower, dripping wet and running half naked to my bedroom to grab my phone.

and I had that stupid Pink Chocolate phone from verizon too. LOL.

The first time DH called me was the first time we ever spoke..........it went something like this:

DH - Hi can I please speak to Laura?

(my mom yelling through the house LAURA!!! PHONE!!!!)

Me - hello?
DH - Hi Laura? It's Michael.
Me - Michael who????
DH - Ummmm Barbara's son?
Me - Ohhhh right...how are you?
DH - I'm good. I was wondering if you wanted to get together for dinner or something.
Me - Ok, let me check my schedule.
DH - Ohhh you're one of THOSE kind of girls....... Me - NOOOO. I work and am on my HS kickline team and it's competition time so I have practice like everyday!

That's all I really remember........ultimately, we set a date to meet the next week and both brought friends along.

I was at my friends house (now BIL) hanging out with another friend, and my friend called me and put DH on the phone. We spoke for an hour and a half, GREAT convo...then our first date I found out, he doesn't really speak too much!

I remember texting with him on my Razr. It was during finals week and I was at the diner at midnight and wondering what he was doing up and wide awake!

hahaha all I remember was that I was in a relationship with his friend and we shouldnt have been talking online or on the phone as much as we did. whoops!!
