I just had an enormous fight......

With my OVEN!!!!!!

I was attempting to make a quiche and unbenounced to me I was unaware that when making a quiche you should always put it on a cookie sheet so it doesn't spill over wellllllllllllllllllllllllll I didn't......I placed it in there and then a little while later went to check on it and a HUGE GUST OF SMOKE came out of my oven....I was LIke HOLY S H I T it's on fire.....when really the egg mixture (A LOTof it) spilt over the side and was no burning at the bottom of the oven.....

my house filled up with smoke....it STINKS...I'm so pissed at myself....you would think I've never cooked before

DH isn't home yet and he's gonna be like ummmmmmmmm what did you do!!!!

& now the quiche is cooking but it's totally going to have a smokey taste.....

I'm not eating it EW!

& to top it off I have a MASSIVE headache.......& I burnt my knuckle!

This is why I try not to cook! It is DANGEROUS!!!

Ummmmm.......Yeah...I once left meatballs in the oven and ran out class and left them there for about 6 hours........Needless to say the house was filled with smoke and the meatballs turned into ashes when I returned...........It took a few days to air the house out but it will be ok.


Maybe order in tonight?!?!?

Open all the windows and door and turn on a fan if you have one.

I would totally take a bottle of wine and drink it right now....but it might really hurt my headache

I once made duck in our oven. Its skin was fatty, and kept popping grease all over the oven. It ended up setting off the smoke alarm during a dinner party

That's not even the most embarrassing part! I had another party a week later, and turned on the oven so I could make baked brie.... I forgot that I didn't clean up the duck mess..... I set off the alarm AGAIN
