My cake will be making a cross country trip soon! It is in my parents freezer on LI, will travel with them to Florida in October. DH and I will be in FL for Thanksgiving...and will take it home to TX with us for our anniversary in Dec. I will be amazed if this little plan works out!

I put mine back in the freezer to eat again later. Glad yours was good. Happy belated Anniv.

I think I will do something like get a mini cake for our anniversary. He was looking more forward to it than I was! When the power was out that's the first thing he said, 'what about our cake???' He is very cute.

Deborah - you guys should have eaten the cake the night of the blackout! Oh well...I guess the min-cake is great alternative.

BTW - it is GREAT to see you back on the boards....you've been gone for quite awhile.
