that I'm so glad it's 'sane' on this side, because have you been reading what's going on in the BHB side??? Like the stress of planning a wedding isn't enough, who's a fake bride, who's wacko, who's a lurker, but not a bride, who's whatever.

I feel like singing the song raise your hand if you're sure from that deodarant commercial. I love being a newlywed, if its one thing I could not wait for is to have my life back to normal and have nothing else to do with wedding planning, at least my own.

I think it is better over here, b/c we all have been talking for months, and we are not as stressed with the wedding anymore. JMO. I like it here better as well, and we actually are getting to know each other as women, not just brides. Hubby thinks I am nuts for still posting on this board, but it is a fun and still informative site. Love you girls!

Kris - my thoughts exactly! One of my friends couldn't believe I was still on this board - all she saw was 'weddings' and thought that was it. But lately, there's so much else to talk about.

Aside from designing my album, I haven't mentioned my wedding much at all this week! LOL

hey we look here too! We are not fighting with each other, I don't know who it is that is stirring things up but I agree it is silly.

I hope it doesn't get that way here when all those 'type' brides are done with their weddings. There are a lot of sweeties on the BHB board that we can't wait to join us, but we have to make sure that this side doesn't get catty.

I think the nature of the NWB lends itself to be lass catty - we are not stressing about our weddings. We are not trying to get opinions or reassurances about vendors, flowers, etc. We are done with that part and look forward to sharing proofs and moving into newlywedded life.

Allegedly there were a couple of new girls on the board ooohing and ahhing about a make up artist and were labeled as fake brides/vendors.

Then LI Weddings posted a question about non-posters attending the GTG next week which spurred another debate about how only posters and people that contribute something to the boards should be allowed to attend. This 'outed' a few lurkers that claimed they are intimidated by the freindships/relationships that already existed on the board.

Irene, don't feel bad, sometimes I have to go to page 3 to catch up. I wish we had a favorites tab to keep track of your favorite thread so whenever it is updated you can go right to it, or where you were last.

I check the boards contstantly during the day when I am not busy.
