I know I should be over this by now

But if you had a BM who:

Didn't come to the bach party
Didn't ask how the bach party was
Couldn't make the rehearsal b/c of a bogus reason
Left the wedding 2 hours early b/c of a bogus reason
Untagged herself from every wedding picture that she is in

Would you be a little

at this point, or is it just me?

I'm not one to say that people's reasons are bogus and they are really too long to get into here...but they were bogus. Many, many people have agreed with me.

I would totally be a little

I mean, I think that kind of behavior is selfish (I mean regardless of what her reasons/excuses were/are). Its hard not to take that lineup personally or at least wonder what's behind it.

Have you tried just having a candid convo with your friend?

isn't that the worst? the wedding drama still lingers long after the day is over... i completely relate to this situation. best advice i could good give is the same as everyone else's - phase her out!

I can also complete relate to this situation. IMO the first life changing event that seperates your real friends from those who are suppose to be your 'friends' is your wedding. If someone can't put themself out just a little to enjoy their friends wedding & the events surrounding it then they are not worth having in your life.

Sounds like a similar situation I am in.

-BM didn't attend bridal shower
-BM didn't attend bach. party / ask how it was
-BM did attend RD though
-BM left wedding 2 hours early

Some people just don't 'get' it.

Shall I continue?

BM (and GM) have not had the time for DH and I in a year. The last time the 4 of us adults were together was Jan. 1, 2010.

Little do they know, there is something very big and exciting going on with us right now. But, I have taken the advice of others and stopped trying so hard with them. It's their loss for choosing not to be a part of our life.

I'd cut your BM out of your life. Let her come to you.

I would confront her and find out whats up. You should have an answer and at least let her know your onto her dumb antics. Then I would cut out of your life. I wouldnt let someone be an a$$ like that and get away with it.

Unless your soo over the b.s. that you just delete her from everything and move on without a word.
