Where did you start with your name change??? I'm so overwhelmed...
Should I go to the DMV first and change my license....then SS?

I went to the SS office on my lunch break and changed my name. I still haven't changed my license because I knew we were moving and I was too cheap to pay for a name change then a address change.

I changed my social security card first, then my license.

the credit cards, i did on the phone. the bank, s.s. office and dmv i did once i got the offical license in the mail. there's really no order in how your going to do it

SS then DMV and then everything else...it's kind of a long process but those two are most important! good luck!!!

I went to SS first, then DMV. Call all your CC's as they don't need proof of your name change.
I'm now working on my passport as its the last thing to do!
