I know this is stupid, but I am upset,

I decided to use wedclean to preserve and clean my dress, and ordered it today, and I upset that my dress will be leaving me.

It has been hanging up in my old bedroom from the fan, and I love seeing it everyday.

I don't to see it in a box, even though it is really dirty.

I know I am ridicoulous.

Re: I know this is stupid, but I am upset,

The good thing about wedclean is you can take itout of the box whenever you want. And then it will be all pretty and clean. So thats a positive right?

Re: I know this is stupid, but I am upset,

I want to wear it again!! I wanted to renew our vows this year, but DH said he wanted to wait until 5 to make it more special, so maybe I can wear it then. But it is not soon enough.

Stef, I didn't know I could take it out, great!!

Not only can you take it out but you are supposed to do it at least once a year.

Re: I know this is stupid, but I am upset,

I dont understand all the details but evidently, you are supposed to take out it out of the box and air it out and refold it once a year so it doesnt get any permanence creases.

Heres what the site says:

Frequently Asked Questions about Wedding Gown Preservation

Q- I have heard of a preservation company that allows the gown to be taken out of the sealed box and touched using special gloves. Is this really a technology that is available? Is it offered by WedClean?
Sarah, Everett, WA
A- Don’t be fooled by companies that make something simple appear very complicated and baffling. Our CareLoom process is state of the art and allows you to safely open the sealed box and handle your gown without any unnecessary gimmicks like special gloves. For your convenience and peace of mind, we supply all WedClean customers with simple guidelines to follow when opening their wedding gown chest.

Q- Can the CareLoom chest be opened at anytime without disturbing the dress?
Kerrie, Sewell, NJ
A- Yes! You may open your CareLoom preservation chest at any time. To maintain the quality and appearance of your gown, please be sure to follow the simple removal and viewing guidelines we include with each processed gown.

Re: I know this is stupid, but I am upset,

By the way..i think if you WEAR the gown again, it has to be cleaned again b/c its going to get dirty. But no reason you cant try it on for a quick second rightr?
