Re: I need a job

I'm in the same boat as you are!!! I quit my good job years ago to go back to school full time to get my BA, only to graduate with my BA and be totally jobless. I can't find a job and I really need one, I'm going stir crazy in the house.....The only advice I can give is to be aggressive in your search, call places if you have to and send ur resume to tons of places. Try contacting a job placement agency too, sometimes they have job postings and can help.

Best of Luck, stay positive...I try to

My husband used to be a recruiter, and first things first go out and find a part time job. Gaps in your resume don't look good, and even if it's part time at least you'll a. get out of the house once in awhile and not feel bad that you can't find something b. get some extra money and c. get experience in something else.

Also, extend your search to other things you might be interested in, but never thought you could have a career in. This could be a good chance to switch things up and find your dream job, not necessarily just what you have experience in or went to college for.

Keep your chin up! You'll find something! Good luck.

Re: I need a job

I went back to school during the writers strike to get out of the film industry and into teaching. Can't find a job in that field either. I am married now and with no job, so I know how you feel. Makes PWBS worse too since I have nothing to do.
