for my step-mom. It's her bday/she's retiring so I want to get her something nice. My Dad is no help whatsoever
she's loves to read--but I get books at discount so I feel awkward giving her books that she knows only cost me $2
her and my dad fly a lot to FL since they have a house there--so I was thinking of South West giftcard--but it seems so impersonal.
she also loves doing the Wii Fit..maybe theres somethign for that?

It's hard for me to suggest, I don't know what else she likes. Maybe pearl earings? BUT if you say she like the Wii then maybe try getting her the newest game (sorry I am not a Wii buff).

Maybe some kind of cooking class or a gift certificate to a spa? (and you can make the gift certificate to spa more personal by going with her!)
Does she like any particular type of food? Is she a coffee or a tea lover?

I am a HUGE fan of gift cards - the SW is nice but AMex ones are good too. I know it seems impersonal but I just love getting them. It is like guilt free shopping!!!
What about a spa day (just another idea) - I like getting those too!
