I need motivation to do my thank-yous!!!!!

what the heck is wrong with me??? i can't motivate myself to do them. i have about 12 out of 75 done!!!!

Just sit on the couch with some nice music on & write or watch something on TV! Just write til you get tired then do more another time. Thats how I got mine done. Just did some each night or day.

I did a little every night I made my goal 10 a night. Sometimes I did more and I have to say sometimes I did less....But just think how happy you will be when you are done!

i got 6 more done - i am forcing myself to do 6, then allowing myself to sew for 30 minutes. so far, so good. i'm starting my second batch of 6 now.

I'm in the same boat!!!! I am really grateful, but writing these all out!!!!! ughh- I'm doing table by table... already did those who sent gifts but didn't attend. I figure this is not a traditional way to do the TY's, but spices it up for me-lol... I've got 2 tables done- MY goal is to have them all done by next weekend so Sat. I can drop them in the mail.

I hated writing all my thank-you's but it was such a releif not to see them staring me in the face every time I walked into our office.

you are too funny!! i am doing the same thing - first i had it sorted alphabetically - but then too many of my co-workers were on top and i am not sure if i am sending them a TY with a photo. then i did it by people who i knew were watching the calendar for them (DH's aunts are sticklers for this sort of stuff). now i have it sorted by table!!! i finished 3 complete tables. woo-hoo!!!

i'm also deathly afraid of forgetting the people who sent gifts, but did not attend. i really don't have a good list of those people anywhere - so i keep calling my mother - as most people sent their envelopes to her house!

Karen, I am in the same boat as you and look at my wedding date

I have off today for President's day and my goal is to write a bunch. I still haven't gotten my pictures to insert in the card though, so when I actually send them is dependent on that!

ETA: I did about 40% of mt TYs today! Yay - I feel better now.
