I need prayers...UPDATE.

Please pray...I just got one of those phone calls that no one ever wants to hear.
I'm being vague because I just can't bring myself to write it out yet.

Update...

My sister had called me to tell me that she and my mom rushed my dad to the ER early this morning because he was having excruciating chest pains and my mother was fairly certain that it was a heart attack. (My mom is a nurse). My mom gave my dad two pills that he has to keep onhand for emergencies like this one...I don't know the name, but according to his doctor he is supposed to carry them everywhere he goes, it's some kind of prescription pill that dissolves under his tongue and works very quickly to open his arteries. She also gave him a few aspirin to thin his blood.

Once at the ER, they determined that he most likely had a large blood clot in his heart and that the combo of pills caused the clot to break up.

He's being kept overnight for testing and observation. His pain is gone. I'll talk to him again when I get out of work.

Thank god my sister and mother were there when this happened.
